About the job
We are looking for a business minded and experienced Accounting Manager to lead the team that support our Service Office and stores in the Philippines. In this position, you will be reporting to the Finance & Operations Manager, IKEA Philippines.
Your assignment
Maintain accounting controls, secure local compliance and ensure that policies and procedures outlined by the group are followed.
Reporting for local as well as group purposes in accordance with GAAP and in compliance with relevant IFRS's.
Manage and follow up of budget, forecasts and actuals for analysis at different viewpoints through the business.
Liaise and deal with the Tax authorities to ensure compliance on all relevant regulatory matters including correctness and timeliness of BIR submissions and Corporate Tax filings and returns.
Monitor the cash flow and manage the relationship with the banks on all cash management matters.
Be the main point of contact in the Statutory Audit Process and responsible for drafting the Audited Financial Statements.
Your profile
Bachelors degree in Accountancy with minimum of 10 years working experience in Accounting or Audit.
In-depth knowledge in Philippine Accounting and Tax Laws as well as BIR requirements.
Certified Public Accountant in one of the major Audit firms is an advantage.
Experience in leading a team as Team Leader, Supervisor, Manager or similar.
Experience in retail industry is an advantage.
