Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting Department
Process month and end year reports, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc.
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Establish and enforce accounting methods, policies and principles
Coordinate and complete annual audits
Provide recommendations
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
Meet financial accounting objectives
Directly in-charge in the preparation and analysis of internal and External Financial Statements
Make sure the BIR reports are submitted on time (Quarterly Income Statement, Yearly Audited Financial Statement, Monthly & Quarterly VAT)
Preparation of necessary accounting reports/schedules as needed for the preparation balance Sheet and income statement/ Retained earnings of HG-III Financial Statement monthly and yearly.
Coordinate and complete annual audits
Monitor and analyze accounting data and procedure financial reports or statements.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principle.

Check Journal entries, disbursement vouchers and the checks issued.
Review and re-check the expenses reports submitted by the Finance/Accounting Associates
Assist the External auditor and BIR in the yearly audit of company Financial Statements
Supervise directly the preparation, issuances, recording of all checks issued by the company.
Make sure that all loans from lending institutions and creditors including interest are paid on due dates.
Confidentiality of information must be secured.

Qualifications
Candidate must possess atleast a Bachelor's/ College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/ Bar/ Professional Exam), Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking or equivalent
CPA is an advantage
Atleast five (5) years of working experience in the related field
Preferably Supervisor or Assistant Manager level specializing in preparing Managementreports as well as Audit and General/ Cost Accounting or equivalent
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, Accounting software and databases
High attention to details and accuracy
Ability to lead a team of Accounting Assistants
