Job Description
• Supervise, coach and train accounting staff assigned as needed
• Establishes and implements financial procedures in line with the organizational requirements.
• Oversees all accounting and finance processes, manual journal entries, balance sheet account, bank account reconciliation, financial statements, inter-company or affiliated transactions, and fixed asset monitoring.
• Monitors and Analyzes accounting department workflow in order to develop more efficient procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Provides and interprets financial information.
• Develops financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk.
• Conducts reviews and evaluation for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Recommends improvements to accounting processes, such as month-end reporting.
• Monitors petty cash and bank balances to ensure sufficient funds are always available.
• Administer all government taxes such as withholding taxes on compensation, expanded, and VAT returns.
• Ensures the reliability of the general Ledger accounting data.
• Controls Accounting Journal entries before it is posted in the accounting system.
• Prepares monthly financial statements and various detailed analyses on, but not limited to, inventory levels, fixed assets purchases, appropriate appreciation methods, investment activity.
• Countercheck Payroll
• Preparation and filing of Mandatory Government Remittances thru E-gov (SSS, Philhealth and Pagi-ibig)
• PEZA and TIMTA transactions and reports
• Assist clients' concerns related to accounting services
Job Qualification:
• Graduated of Finance and Accounting related course.
• CPA
• With at least 4 years of Experience as Accounting and Finance Accounting Manager.
• Knowledgeable in Accounting principles, practice and procedure.
• SAP and Quickbooks proficient.
• Computer Literate (Microsoft office, Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Proficient in General Accounting.
