Establishes financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analysing, verifying and reporting financial information.
Coordinate and direct the development and preparation of budgets, forecasts, and projections.
Analyses financial information and report to the Management.
Ensure that all operational accounting & financial reports are in accordance with generally accepted principles and practices.
Ensures timely preparation and submission of statutory reports to Government agencies.
Prepares monthly and annual financial statements and other reportorial requirements for submission to the Management.
Maintains financial security by establishing controls.
Identifies and resolves errors and discrepancies in the financial / accounting reports.
Coordinates with production in the formulation of standard costing for each model as well as the periodic review of the standard costing.
Investigates and answers routine queries arising from the management and other units/section as well as from external agencies including BIR, PEZA, SEC and other regulatory bodies and suppliers.
Managing and developing subordinates.
Make recommendations, execute plans and programs for the effective management of company's finances.

Expert computer skills - proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook with emphasize on using a merge program that transfers data to the appropriate forms
Navision accounting software experience is a plus
Must have strong background in Cost Accounting and Financial Reporting
Knowledgeable in Accounting systems.
Education
Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
High preference of CPA
Experience
Minimum of 5 years Accounting experience in Supervisory or Asst. Manager level.
Accounting experience in manufacturing is preferred.
