Helpmate Services Incorporated (HSI for brevity), is a corporation duly organized under Philippine Laws, engaged in providing janitorial, messengerial, manpower and comprehensive agricultural services to its clients in the different areas of  Visayas and Mindanao.  HSI was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 26, 2004 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Helpmate Services Incorporated, a 100% Filipino owned corporation also registered with the securities and Exchange Commission on March 21, 1966.
 
The principal and operating office of Helpmate Services Incorporated is at 330 N. Bacalso Avenue, Cebu City. It has branch offices in the cities of Tacloban, Cagayan De Oro City, Davao City and a Satellite office inside Nestle Facility in Magdum, Tagum City.
 
ACCOUNTING FACILITATOR
 
 I. SUMMARY
 
The Accounting staff generally performs accounting clerical and supports various aspects of finance and accounting for the company which includes maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers; prepare and analyze budget, responsible for billing activities such as accounts payable and accounts receivable, and perform general bookkeeping.
 
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 Prepares monthly government reports. (SSS, PHIC, HDMF & BIR)  Checking of payroll for CDO deployed employees.  Facilitates in processing purchase requests and cash advances. Handles/Controls series numbers of service invoices and official receipts Encodes service invoice/official receipts in the accounting system. Prepares bank reconciliation reports monthly/quarterly. Checking of 13th month pay & SIL. Checking of billings against payroll. Checking of monthly billings and collections reports. Prepares cost analysis for clients. Assist the accounting officer in preparation of the annual budget for the branch. Handles petty cash Submits monthly accounting reports to the accounting officer. Prepares annual financial statements and their supporting schedule of an account which is used for internal analysis.
 
III.  QUALIFICATIONS
 
To perform this job successfully, the individual candidates must have proven accounting experience, familiarity with bookkeeping, and basic accounting procedures. Must have skills and competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software. The candidate must also have accuracy and attention to detail; well organized; ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks; and aptitude for numbers.
 
IV. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management and any field related.
At least 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications with staff, members, vendors, etc.
Knowledgeable on Labor Laws and Statutory Monetary Benefits is an advantage
Can work under pressure and flexible
V. LANGUAGE SKILLS:   Tagalog, Cebuano, Visayan, English
 
VI. CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATION
Membership in relevant organizations as well as certificates (see Education and/or experience) PMAP
VII. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
1. Must be present in the office on workdays. Unless otherwise assigned and or directed to you by the direct supervisor and/or employer to have work-related trips outside the office.
2. Must be physically fit.
 
VIII. WORK ENVIRONMENT:  In the office as required otherwise in the field.
