The Accounting Clerk will provide financial information for the organization's monthly accounting functions. She will support the accounting team and Finance Director.
Reconciles a wide variety of financial data for the purpose of maintaining accurate account balances and ensuring compliance with established accounting practices.
Researches discrepancies of financial information and/or documentation for the purpose of ensuring the accuracy and adhering to established procedures prior to processing.
Assists in performing general ledger accounting functions as needed for the purpose of ensuring that department functions are completed in an accurate and timely manner during short times of need.
Compiles a wide variety of financial information related to work assignments for the purpose of providing required documentation and/or processing information.
Maintains a wide variety of financial information, files and records for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines.
Processes a wide variety of financial information for the purpose of updating and distributing information and complying with established accounting practices.
Check and review all reports coming from Sales Accounting Clerk, Disbursement Clerk, Payroll & Purchasing Clerk and Inventory Audit Clerk
Performs other related duties assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Job Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
Preferably Less than 1 year experience specialized in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
Knowledge on using SAP system is an advantage
