Job title: Accounting Assistant
Department: Finance & Accounting
Reports to: Finance & Accounting Manager
Purpose: Responsible for maintaining financial records, running reports for management and recording financial transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for data entry and maintaining ledgers
• Ensures payments and receivables are correct & updated
• Bank reconciliation
• Payroll preparation
• Checks accuracy in reports, figures and postings
• Reconcile and report any discrepancies
• Prepares adjusting journal entries
• Generate reports and statements for internal and external use
• Assist in the preparation of monthly Financial Statements
Work Experience, Education and Skill Requirements:
Work Experience:
• Fresh Graduates or preferably 1-2 years in accounting
Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Skills:
• High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
• Attention to details
• Proficient knowledge with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Trustworthy
• Understanding of accounting and budgeting.
