ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Rabaya, Cansojong, Talisay City.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for assisting the accounting department in managing financial transactions and records, verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents, reconciling bank statements, and performing other related tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing financial transactions and records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
Verify the accuracy of invoices, purchase orders, and other accounting documents
Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other reports as needed
Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, and data entry
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting
At least 1-2 years of experience in accounting or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
