Accounting AssociateItalic

We are seeking a full-time Accounting Associate to join our finance & accounting team. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, communication skills and professionalism. This role would manage the AP process and be a key contributor to the month-end close. We use Settle as our AP management system to record all bills and utilize employee corporate cards for all other expenses. We use QuickBooks Online for our accounting close software.
Responsibilities
Recording bills and scheduling weekly payment runs (via ACH, Wire, or occasional check)
Managing end-to-end PO process flow in partnership with our category management team
Regularly review and monitor corporate credit card spend for appropriate expense categorization
Support accounting month-end close process via imports to QuickBooks Online
Entering bank transactions for the month
Performing bank reconciliations
Performing other balance sheet reconciliations such as: accrued expenses, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses.
Assist finance department with administrative duties related to cash flow management
Requirements
2+ years of prior AP & accounting experience
Understanding of general accounting principles
Great problem solving skills, you're able to figure things out and offer solutions
Proficient in Excel
Experience with QuickBooks Online is a plus
Working time zone is flexible. We ask that you overlap with your US colleagues on Pacific Standard Time for at least 2 hours each day.
