Accounting Associate - general accountingE&L Faster Food Imports Inc.
The Accounting Associate for General Accounting will assist the management in various financial decisions by ensuring the accuracy of data related but not limited to inventory costs, inventory balances and historical and projected movements, patterns, and trends.
Inventory Costing
1. Assists in monitoring all costs related to the inventory daily
2. Assists in performing reconciliation and clearing of accounts related to inventory daily
3. Assists in ensuring all costs related to inventory are accounted timely and accurately
4. Assists in preparing and submitting reports as required
Inventory Adjustments and Movements
1. Assists in monitoring inventory movements by checking inbound and outbound transactions related to inventories
2. Assists in checking, investigating, and recording inventory adjustments requests due to shortages and overages
3. Assists in handling inventory adjustment due to supplier claims
4. Assists in handling inventory adjustment due to customer claims
Inventory Reconciliation
1. Assists in ensuring that Inventory per books is reconciled per count by partnering with Operations during cycle count
2. Assists in coordinating with other departments to resolve discrepancies
Month end closing and annual audit
1. Assists in validating the cost of goods sold
2. Assists in determining monthly inventory provision
3. Assists in determining annual inventory valuation
Other Duties and Responsibilities
1. Participates in a special project like migration to new ERP
2. Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
Bachelor's/College Degree
At least 1 Year & Up Experienced Employee
Understanding of accounting principles and standards in relation to Inventory
Strong analytical skills and financial / treasury systems literate.
Can work independently and with a team
Strong attention to details
Process oriented
