Accounting Associate -commercial asset management accounting (project based)SunPower Philippines Limited - ROHQ

SUMMARY:
This position will handle project level accounting of SLB and PPA Revenue and is responsible for month end close activities and project level financial statement.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for booking monthly journal entries for sold SLB projects such as revenue recognition, cash entries, amortization, accruals and depreciation in accordance with GAAP and Non-GAAP requirements
Maintains schedules of all financial calculation (Depreciation, Amortization, Accruals) of each project for monthly booking of transactions.
Responsible for monthly reconciliation and analysis for accounts
Supports in the preparation of stand-alone financial statements and stand-alone audit.
Provide support for quarterly SOX and PBC requirements and other finance and audit duties as assigned.
Provides analytical support for business decisions and participate / lead special projects and process improvements initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or any Finance related courses.
CPA
CMA or any accounting certifications is a plus but not required.
Experience in various accounting areas like General Accounting., Asset Management & Financial Data Analysis
Preferably at least 5 years experience in full cycle accounting
Analytical and keen to details
Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Can work well at different levels of the organization
