Accounting Associate - accounts payableMondiale Freight Services

Operational Functions:
Checking and validation of invoices
Receipting of daily deposits
Forex rates updating
Contra Account updating
Account Reconciliation of AU creditors (Accounts Payable)
Ensure accuracy of data entry
Communicate discrepancy of coded invoice to proper channels

Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
Excellent Time Management skills

Constant interface and communication with a wide set of internal and external stakeholders
Accountabilities:
Adherence to compliance standards, policies and procedures
Timely and accurate processing of finance and accounting transactions.
Qualifications:
1-2 year experience in Finance and Accounting role, prior experience in Shared Services or BPO setting in the logistics industry is an advantage
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or any related field
Proficient and knowledgeable in Microsoft excel is a plus but not required
Experience in CargoWise an advantage, but not required
