Job Description
Record transactions such as but not limited to trade payables, advances to employees for operating expenses, replenishment of petty cash funds
Prepare checks for payment to suppliers and other operating expenses after ensuring that all data and documents are in proper order.
Provide Accounts Payable aging report on a weekly basis
File and maintain financial records such as invoices, official receipts, check vouchers and other.
Filing and remittance of VAT returns
Reconcile Balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
Assist in the submission of reportorial requirements (i.e SLS, SLP , SLI, etc) to agencies such as BOC, BIR, SEC and other agencies.
Requirements:
Work experience as an Accounting Assistant
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
Familiarity with computerized accounting system and procedures
Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
Hands -on experience with MS- Excel and accounting software (e.g Quickbooks)
Strong organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
BSC/ BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
1-4 years experienced employee
