Responsibilities for Accounting Assistant
1. Accounts payable and expenses support duties (prepare bills payments, checks, vouchers and journal with accouting entries)
2. Accounts receivable support duties (recording of collections and reconcilation of ageing report)
3. Bank Reconciliation
4. Assist in the creation of financial and statistical reports and statements.
5. In a timely manner, investigate and resolve inconsistencies.
6. Maintain the secrecy of all financial information.
7 Accounting policies, rules, and regulations are interpreted and applied to every activity to guarantee conformity with applicable standards.
8. Gather and compile routine reports and summaries
Requirements for Accounting Assistant
1. An Associate's degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or a related subject is required. A bachelor's degree is preferable. It is possible to replace a comparable mix of education, training, and experience.
2. At least a year upto 3 years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience are required.
3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, ranging from proficient to advanced
4. Preferably with Knowledge in Accounting Software like, quickbooks or equivalent.
5. Effective verbal and written communication abilities
6. Precision and attention to detail are essential.
7. Capability to work independently on specified tasks
8. Reading comprehension skills strong enough to read and interpret financial documents
9. General knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures
10. Strong comfortability in an office environment
11. Ability to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately
12. Demonstrates the capacity to balance many priorities while fulfilling deadlines.
