SEALANES MARINE SERVICES, INC. (SEALANES), is a Philippine corporation engaged in crewing and manning of sea-going vessels, duly licensed by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) of the Department of Labor and Employment since 1978. ​ Sealanes provides maritime personnel, both Officers and ratings, to various types of sea-going and offshore vessels, such as:​ general cargo, bulk carrier, heavy lift, passenger ferries, multi-purpose vessels, anchor handling, etc. MANPOWER RESOURCES OF ASIA, INC. (MRA), deploys highly skilled workers for specialized jobs in petrochemical plants, construction projects, maintenance projects, oil and natural gas pipe laying assignments, and other industrial operations. MRA OFFSHORE CORPORATION, provides maritime, offshore, and technical personnel, ratings and officers for all types of vessels engaged in activities such as dredging and reclamation, drilling, pipe-laying, and the like.
Qualifications & experience
Must be Accountancy graduate or any Accounting related course
Relevant experience in accounting for at least 1 year
Proficient in Microsoft Office and with experience in any accounting software (e.g. SAP)
Superior analytical and numerical abilities, advance problem solving skills
Must be willing to work Onsite at Makati
Tasks & responsibilities
Preparation of billing for expenses billable to client
Monitor advances and liquidations
Calculate salary of seafarer and prepares monthly payroll
Attend to seafarer queries related to home allotment, on board salaries and entitlements via email, calls or walk-in
Organize and file all accounting records and documents
Monitor and apply deduction of contract workers such as cash advance, pocket money, loan payments (SSS, PHIC, HDMF and MSLA) and overpayment, if any.
