Accounting AssistantALPHAMILE AUTOMOTIVE DEALERS INC.

Receives incoming cash/checks from customers paid personally or through bank transfer/deposit.
Issuance of official/provisional receipts for cash/checks received from the clients.
Prepares daily deposit slips for bank validation through pick-up deposit by bank assistant.
Prepares daily cash tally sheet (daily collection report) for submission to the President.
Examines currency to detect counterfeit or damaged money.
Handles cash count to compare amounts with slips or cash receipts.
Prepares cash reconciliation at the end of the day.
Handles credit card transactions through hypercom machine.
Monthly sales invoices from parts purchases.
Prepares subsidiary ledger of customer's deposit on service and parts.
Carry out other tasks within the accounting department which may be required from time to time by the Manager and President.
Qualifications
Graduate of BS in Accounting or equivalent.
With a background in accounting payables and receivables.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures.
Data entry skills.
