JOB SUMMARY:
To ensure that all payments to suppliers/service providers, employees, and other necessary disbursement are accurate, valid, and processed within the prescribed period. To assist the Finance Manager in the recording and monitoring of payables.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Checks the accuracy of the amount and validity of the attached documents in all Request for Payments (RFPs) received. Resolves any questionable irregularities in RFP with the requesting employee.
Ensure that all disbursements are properly recorded and approved. Ensure that all payments ri expenses are within the budget.
Encode accounting entries for disbursements based on the approved RFPs in accounting system.
Prepares RFPs for DMCM, loans to affiliates, SDAs, branch facilitation fees, and other payments.
Prepares MTAF for payments and transfer of company's dollar to peso account.
Print checks and check vouchers and submit to Finance Manager for checking and General Manager/President for approval.
In-charge of bank confirmation for withdrawal/ encashment from company's bank accounts.
Prepares cash position report and ensures that receipts and disbursements are appropriately recorded and tallies with bank balance.
Monitors company bank balances daily and checks if accounts are well funded.
Reconcile and monitor accounts payable account daily and ensure that all SOA accounts are properly recorded and monitored.
Maintains SDA records and monitors monthly balances. Inform the Finance Manager of the maturity periods of SDAs for further instruction to roll-over or terminate the account.
Safekeeping of passbook certificates and other bank related documents.
Conducts cash count on petty cash and medical fund randomly or weekly basis.
Reconciles daily cash position reports with SDA and bank balances every month end.
Perform other related tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of BS Accountancy/ Financial Accounting/ Accounting Technology course
With at least one (1) year of experience
22 years of age and above
With good scholastic record
With good moral character
