JOB SUMMARY - ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
Under the direct supervision of the Finance Head, the Accounting Assistant will be responsible to provide various Accounting and Administrative assistance to the whole department.
Specifically, he/she will do the following:
Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors.
Research, track, and resolve accounting problems.
Compile and sort invoices and checks.
Issue checks for accounts payable.
Place checks in envelopes and mail out.
Record business transactions and encodes daily worksheets to the general ledger system.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of Accounting or any related course or relevant equivalent work ecperience
Be familiar with all accounting procedures and have a flair for numbers.
Keen eye on details with good communications skills
Open-minded and willing to be trained and learn different tasks under the Accounting Department
With at least one (1) year of solid experience as an Accounting Clerk or Accounting assistant
Can start ASAP and willing to work in Valenzuela City
