JOB DESCRIPTION
*Conducts all A/R transactions in a complete, accurate and timely basis; prepares A/R reports that are also accurate and reflect the true financial position of the company.
*Reviews all Sales Invoice (SI) transactions encoded into the SAP, i.e. that these are encoded accurately and on a timely basis, and that all discrepancies (e.g. skipped series, unposted transactions, encoding errors, no transmittal or late transmittal of documents, etc.) are investigated and reconciled.
*Receives collection report (CRT) from Treasurers Dept. and counter-checks against supporting documents; checks that discounts are applied correctly as discounts or withholding tax; checks that EWT are properly applied and that all supporting documents are attached; confirms / verifies with Credit & Collection regarding any discrepancies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*BS Accountancy graduate from a reputable university
*Preferably a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
*Preferably with 1 -2 years of direct work experience in accounting operations
*Prior relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment with a retail distribution operation highly desirable
*Good, in-depth working knowledge of ERP systems; knowledge and familiarity with SAP will be a distinct advantage
