JOB PURPOSE: The Accounting and Tax Supervisor assists the Manager in daily deliverables to provide excellent service to clients. They provide financial information to management by researching and analysing accounting data; preparing reports, submitting the reports to the client and are able to coach junior staff in the department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle full set of accounts and bank operations for clients;
Assists to manage daily work with high complexity, including closing full set of books;
Maintains relationship with clients and internal/external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, BIR and other government departments on client company's affairs, accounts, bank accounts, tax filing, etc.;
Query management with internal and external- 3rd party stakeholders;
Assist Manager in preparing proposal for clients;
Supervises Senior Accountants, Accountants and Junior Accountants, and reviews draft deliverables;
Assists Manager/Director to oversee daily operations of the Accounting department and to implement internal control procedures;
Assists Manager/Director to train & coach junior staff;
Assists Manager/Director to follow up on Debtors list (client invoices);
Prepares and checks various reports as requested by clients;
Prepares and supervises accountant audits.
JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy (preferably CPA );
Minimum of 3 years in supervisory level;
Sound knowledge of Philippine Accounting & Taxation;
Good command of communication both in written and verbal
