ACCOUNTING ANALYST
 
The Accounting Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Finance and Accounting department by maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing disbursement processes, reconciling books and bank accounts, reviewing payroll computations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements from agencies such as the BIR, SEC, and PSA.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

o    Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of disbursement vouchers and supporting documentation.
o    Review and monitor accounts payable and receivable transactions.
o    Perform bank and book reconciliations on a daily, monthly, and annual basis.
o    Record and monitor adjusting journal entries, accruals, and amortizations.
o    Analyze financial data and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
o    Prepare financial reports and ensure timely compliance with government regulations (BIR, SEC, PSA, etc.).
o    Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
o    Review payroll journal entries and ensure accurate accounting for payroll-related transactions.
o    Maintain accounting records in systems such as Smartminds and Pinnacle.
o    Assist in external and internal audits, and address accounting-related queries.
o    Support the Chief Accountant and Finance leadership with reporting and analysis tasks.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
·  Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (required)
Experience:
·  At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience
·  Minimum of 3 years in a related industry or similar role
Skills & Competencies:
·  Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
·  Knowledgeable in tax laws, payroll processing, and regulatory reporting
·  Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
·  High level of accuracy and attention to detail
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·  Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications
