Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Accounting Analyst provides support on all accounting processes, ensuring the company observes all legal accounting & tax requirements, ensures the accuracy of the accounting entries, assists during monthly closing and in the preparation of annual financial statements. You will be closely working with the team to perform functions in general accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Job Responsibilities:
Process day-to-day employee cash disbursements, meal vouchers and supplier payments in accordance with company policy and approval metrics
Reconcile vendor SL vs statement of accounts
Monitor and close of Purchase Orders, perform the Invoice Verification process
Process of bank payment requests, wire transfers and manual check printing
Process invoices and billing statements to customers
Reconcile and validate of Inter-Company billings and collections
Prepare AR Aging Report and follow-up collections as needed
Manage Fixed Assets register, perform depreciation runs, conduct periodic physical count, facilitate capitalization and disposal processes
Post Journal Vouchers in PeopleSoft, review of subsidiary & general ledgers, and assist in Trial Balance preparation
Provide support during internal and external audits
Other ad-hoc accounting related tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree, major in Finance or Accounting
At least 2years of working experience as an Accountant or Finance Associate
Knowledge in local accounting legislation, tax regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
Advanced skills in MS Office and MS Excel
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
Good English communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Customer oriented, hardworking and accountable
Preferably with experience in using Oracle and/ or Peoplesoft
Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
