Our Australian client, a mid-tier accounting firm from Brisbane is looking for fresh graduate accountants to join their team in Makati.
About the role
As an accountant joining our team, you will be required to work independently attending to the tax compliance needs of our clients.
The main responsibilities of this role will include:
Compilation of electronic workpapers and audit files
Preparation of financial statements and tax returns
Preparation of business activity statements (BAS)
Reconciliation of all general ledger accounts
Compilation of journal entries
Communication with Australian team members in respect of queries and review points
About the Person
The role will suit an Accounting graduate with a client-centric work style, who is looking to begin their full-time career. Additionally, the successful candidate will have:
Self-starter
Willing to learn and be trained for Australian accounting and tax compliance
Strong written and verbal English communication skills for communicating with our Australian professional staff
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Effective task and time management skills
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
A clear and professional communication style
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
A customer service approach
A positive attitude and the desire to contribute to a high performing team
A high level of personal maturity
Strong performance in your tertiary studies
CPA qualified (desirable)
