Job Description
Perform day to day accounting on customer credit terms and procedures, paying and receiving services, ensuring all payments to suppliers and other service providers are achieved as per agreed guidelines
Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold.
Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses
Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date.
Working with the collections department to review accounts and client payment and credit history to develop new or better repayment terms.
Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and engaging clients to discuss their accounts
Carries out other duties as assigned by the CEO and FC.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or similar fields.
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Business Administration or related fields
With at least 5-year experience as accountant for wholesale/retail industry and have strong business administration background
Computer literate and with excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Must have a recognized degree in accounting or equivalent experience
Must be able to meet deadlines.
Must be able to generate and interpret reports.
Must have good interpersonal skills.
