About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist with a strong background in accrual accounting, adept at transitioning from cash basis to accrual. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in QuickBooks Online Advance and a proven track record of managing accounting tasks efficiently. This role involves handling various accounting and bookkeeping responsibilities, including cost allocations and reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
Utilize QuickBooks Online Advance for accurate and timely financial reporting.
Execute accrual accounting principles and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Lead the transition from cash accounting to accrual accounting seamlessly.
Perform day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks with precision and attention to detail.
Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
Allocate costs appropriately based on business needs and requirements.
Requirements
Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks Online Advance is essential.
Prior experience in accrual accounting is required, along with familiarity with cash accounting principles.
Proven ability to successfully convert from cash accounting to accrual accounting.
Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and best practices.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
