Qualifications & experience
Must possess of bachelor / College Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent. CPA is a plus but not required.
Working Knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced working environment.
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks. Must be proficient in MS word and MS Excel skills.
Strong Attention to details and accuracy in data entry and analysis
With Knowledge in BIR regulations is a plus
Can work under pressure and adhere to deadline and urgency
Trustworthy of keeping confidential information.
Tasks & responsibilities
We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
Accountant responsibilities includes auditing of financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns .You will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position, while ensuring we're compliant with all tax regulations.
Manage all accounting transactions . Prepares journal entries for the GL based on reconciliations and analytics to correct the transactional errors. Provide accurate monthly, quarterly & annual Financial statement of balance sheet, Income statement and cash flow in timely basis.
Manage, update and reconcile Accounts payables, Accounts receivable, lapsing schedule and depreciation. Ensure timely bank reconciliation report . Audit financial transactions and documents before providing to auditors. Comply with financial policies and regulations
Monthly, quarterly and annual preparation of tax returns. VAT , withholding tax expanded & compensation, Income tax and others reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Responsible in preparation regulatory reportorial requirements and payment to BIR, SEC, DOLE, SSS, HDMF , Philhealth and renewal of annual business permits. On a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Preparation of payroll
Any task / duty as directed by Management.
