JOB DESCRIPTION
Financial Reporting: Preparation of timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
General Ledger Management: Maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, journal entries, reconciliations, proper classification in adherence to accounting principles.
Cash Management: Supervise cash flow planning and management, including monitoring receivables and payables, optimizing working capital, and maintaining banking relationships. Ensure proper liquidity and funding for operational needs.
Taxation and Audit: Ensure compliance with tax regulations. Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to facilitate audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements. Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns, financial reports, and other statutory filings.
Regulatory Awareness: Keeping current with the evolving accounting regulations and tax laws to maintain full compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Background and Work Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. Preferrably a CPA with least 3 years of working experience in an Accounting/Finance Deparment
Accounting Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in accounting software, particularly in QuickBooks Online, Xero and MS Excel.
Character and Work Ethics: Proactive mindset and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Possesses strong work ethics and core values.
