Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Excellent Numeracy Skills, Strong Analytical Skills, Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Preferably Manager specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and manage multiple priorities
Hands-on experience with accounting software and statistical packages
Knowledge of MS Excel (specifically, advanced formulas, pivot tables and charts)
Familiarity with forecasting methods and data analysis
Knowledge of accounting best practices and regulations
Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced company
Ability to explain budgeting and financial information in plain terms
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares and Present Monthly Financial Reports in accordance to FRS standards
Suport day to day operations (AP,AR and Treasury)
Assist in reporting processess and fixed assets management
Preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.
Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
Prepare GST filing and response to government statistics survey.
Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures.
Serve as a team lead and guide the department of the accounting policies; applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
Supervise the team to ensure that all the required report deadlines are met.
Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
