Qualifications
- Must be CPA
- Senior Accountant and Accounting Specialist (depending on years of experience)
- Applicant must have at least 2-5 years of work experience in Finance and Accounting, if possible in the shared service or BPO industry.
- Has excellent and strong communication skills both in speaking and writing. Exposure with multi-cultural working environment is a plus.
- Has basic-to-intermediate knowledge in MS Excel.
- Has relevant experience in Philippine taxation compliance.
- SAP experience is an advantage.
- Must be willing to work during morning shift (regular) and mid-shift during month end closing.
- Must be willing to travel abroad as needed.
Job Description
- The successful applicant will work as the accountant for PH subsidiary and +1 ASEAN company. He/She will directly report to the regional accounting manager.
- Prepares financial statements for the companies and ensures adherence to the Group accounting deadlines and minimum requirements for period close.
- Handles the end-to-end accounting and reporting, banking/treasury, audit and taxation responsibilities for the companies.
- Prepares project accounting analysis (revenue-cost-WIP items).
- Prepares a weekly cash flow report.
- Reconciles Intercompany reports and resolves outages, if any.
- Performs routine Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Regularly coordinates invoicing and collection activities with sales team and admin.
- Manages timely and accurate vendor payments.
- Supports the local company during bid preparations, specifically for accounting-related documents.
- Participates in global accounting projects and initiatives from time-to-time.
