Prepares, examines and analyzes accounting records in order to produce accurate, complete and timely financial statements in accordance to accounting standards for management's use and decision-making
Confers with Accounting Head and respective departments to coordinate and prioritize effective measures related to all aspects of financial reporting
Addresses financial issues and inquiries from internal and external parties
Reviews accounts payable transactions to ensure compliance on the standard policies and procedures
Supervises in appraising, evaluating, and recording of information such as the property's description, value and location
Identifies proper valuation of fixed assets and depreciation thereof
Evaluates, studies and collects data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, labor and overhead cost for Commissary
Monitors and validates cost-related data for effective costing simulation and analysis
Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
Conducts physical inventories and monitor cycle count program
Validates and reviews reconciliation of Inventory variances
Annual preparation of Inventory Listing for submission to BIR
Performs month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
Prepares tax computations and ensures that all tax returns are filed correctly, on-time and in accordance with tax regulations
Ensures all local government and tax reporting and all compliance are met
Handles tax-related projects and tax audits
Acts as the main point of contact and overall resource person for all taxation matters
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy; CPA is definitely an advantage
Has Sound understanding of accounting principles
Has ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Have excellent analytical and reasoning skills
With above average aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
With very good oral and written communication skills
Must be hardworking, trustworthy, and responsible
Has a strong work ethic and keen eye for details
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic high-performance team environment
Can work with minimum supervision and can work long hours
