Independent Contractor arrangement
Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor", the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will also be accountable for handling their taxes and benefits independently. The salary is calculated and offered on an hourly basis.
Responsibilities:
As a key team member, you'll provide exceptional financial insights and strategic guidance. Execute month-end financial accounting, craft insightful financial reports, engage in budget analysis, assist in bookkeeping tasks, and foster a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
Proficient English communication skills for effective interaction.
3+ years' management accounting experience, showcasing your expertise.
Analytical aptitude with strong Excel competencies.
Eagerness to embrace technological tools for enhanced efficiency.
Self-motivation, proactivity, and a deadline-driven approach.
Previous bookkeeping experience, including solid payroll understanding.
Familiarity with Xero software, reflecting modern accounting proficiency.
Bonus Skills (Training provided if needed):
Knowledge of Calxa Reporting.
Power BI experience.
Familiarity with Australian accounting regulations.
Background in the non-profit sector.
Relevant university degree coupled with CPA certification.

MAC Processor with an Operating System of Catalina and Up Only
RAM: 8GB and up
