About Us
We are an Australian based multi-faceted financial services organization, with an office in Makati, and we are looking for an Accountant who is both thorough and organized to join our team. The successful candidate will be a key member of a team.
The Role
The key focus of this role is to assist with providing compliance and advisory services to existing and new clients. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
preparation of Australian statutory compliance reports and Australian tax returns for various entity types
preparation of Business Activity Statements
perform bookkeeping and client payroll functions primarily using Xero software
support the registry function for investment vehicles
maintain accounting policies and procedures
assist with regulatory compliance obligations and reporting
Skills and Experience
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Finance/Accounting/Banking or equivalent
minimum 3 years or relevant experience
a demonstrated understanding of Australian accounting concepts and principles
a demonstrated understanding of Australian tax law and principles
high attention to detail to achieve accuracy
excellent problem solving and analytical skills
ability to work on multiple projects at once
strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
a strong work ethic
excellent English-language communication skills
experience with Xero and Xero Practice Manager
be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
