This is a remote position.
Daily bank and credit card reconciliations.
Conduct ABA payment runs efficiently and accurately.
Receipting Accounts Receivable (AR) promptly to maintain accurate financial records.
Perform full-spectrum accounting duties for various clients, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and accounts reconciliation.
Prepare and maintain statutory financial statements in compliance with Singapore's regulatory requirements and the Singapore Companies Act.
Ensure timely and accurate handling of Goods and Services Tax (GST) transactions and submissions, including the preparation and filing of GST returns.
Handle corporate taxation tasks, such as tax computations, returns, and liaising with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) as needed.
Maintain compliance with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) guidelines and other relevant authorities.
Utilize Xero accounting software to manage financial data and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Engage in job costing or data matching to identify gaps and raise queries for clients' operational and accounting system data.
Provide financial advice and support to clients based on a strong understanding of Singapore accounting principles.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and effective resolution of accounting queries.
Manage Central Provident Fund (CPF) contributions and handle payroll processing for clients as required.
Assist in handling IRAS queries and support clients during tax audits when necessary.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in accounting, with a focus on Singapore accounting and taxation.
Proficiency in Xero accounting software with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
Sound knowledge and experience with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and Singapore Companies Act.
Strong understanding of Singapore Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations and experience in managing GST-related transactions and submissions.
Prior experience in handling corporate taxation matters and familiarity with IRAS requirements.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Process-driven with the ability to work independently and escalate queries when necessary.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
Candidates with relevant certifications in Singapore accounting or taxation will be given preference.
