Job Description
Reconciliations for all general ledger items
Monthly reports for Income statement for Profit, Cash flow report, balance sheet.
Assist in the preparation of BAS, VAT, VNPF & payroll
Maintaining/updating Fixed Asset Register
Assist in preparing documents of Annual statutory Accounts.
Assist in analyzing and creating department budgets
Assist in preparing financial forecasting reports
Work collaboratively with and support business unit leaders and managers
Qualifications:
A minimum of 4 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Commerce; Finance/Accountancy/Banking or similar fields.
Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
Previous experience in charted Accounting would be advantageous.
A good understanding of the financial compliance around recording activities for commercial entities in respect of GST, FBT and PAYG
Highly competent in all aspects of general ledger and subsidiary ledger on larger Finance (ERP) systems such as CHEOPS, SAP, Oracle or Finance One
Advanced level Excel skills. Excellent numerical ability.
Strong communication skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills
Customer focus and responsiveness
Project accounting experience is an advantage.
Previous experience in the construction, property, or retirement industries will be highly regarded.
Additional Information:
Vanuatu based role with specific accounting responsibilities for Australian sister company.
This permanent full-time position is responsible for provision of general accounting services for our international business.
