Duties and Responsibilities:
· Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes;
· Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit;
· Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness;
· Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; and preparing special reports.
· Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions;
· Actively recruit train, assign, counsel and supervise employees;
· Collaborates with other financial staff to support and enable department to meet overall goals and objectives;
· Other tasks that maybe assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance;
· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is preferred;
· At least 2-3 year(s) of progressive accounting experience or any relevant experience;
· Thorough knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), standards and regulations;
· Must have strong prioritization skills and feel comfortable taking initiative;
· Attention to detail and accuracy;
· Able to multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines;
· Ability to communicate complex data clearly;
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems.
· Great interpersonal and customer service skills;
· Willing to travel between Aparri, Tuguegarao and Manila as needed;
· Living or is open to relocating in Aparri, Cagayan.
