JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports to CFO/Controller
Works with RACO Group and RBA Companies
Analyse and ensure accurate and appropriate (a) recording of daily transactions; (b) analysis of revenues and expenses and; (c) other financial entries, documents, and reports.
Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of the company's accounting control procedures
Prepares Weekly Cash Position Report
Maintain and monitor Investment Account Schedule and record its movement in the book
Maintain and monitor Intercompany transactions
Prepare, maintain, monitor, and analyze all General Ledgers and Subsidiary Ledgers/Schedules
Responsible for monthly closing of Book of Accounts
Prepares Monthly Trial Balance
Responsible for the preparation and compliance for all BIR Reportorial Requirements
Ensure up to date submission of accounting reports and schedule
Guide and supervise the Accounting Staff
Provide staff assistance to the Controller
Assist the auditor during the conduct of the audit and provide all the requested reports & documentation as needed
Assist in preparation of annual budget
Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial files and information
