As an Accountant in our Corporate Accounting and Finance team you will perform a broad range of general accounting processes and support the month end closing.
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for processing incoming vendor invoices and internal client requests on a daily basis
Perform general accounting duties as assigned including journal entry preparation and processing, and posting activity to the general accounting records
Validate, scan, and upload accounts payable documents into the company's accounting system
File in a systematic order all accounts payable documents
Compute and record intercompany charges, and balance intercompany accounts
Handle inquiries, requests and concerns from vendors and internal clients
Conduct audit of invoices, employee reimbursements, and other payables
Work on reconciliation of vendor SOA vs accounting records
Perform and assist in month end closing activities
Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be delegated
We are looking for someone who has:
A degree in Accounting, Finance or Business course
Preferably at least 6 months of general accounting experience in Accounts Payable
Proficiency in Excel and Word
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
Strong analytical skills and is detail-oriented
Amenability to work in-center
