I. Tasks and Responsibilities:
Ø Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports such as the financial; statements, tax returns, and SEC reports;
Ø Ensure correct and timely filing and payment of BIR returns and government contributions;
Ø Prepare monthly bank reconciliation;
Ø Prepare books of account for BIR submission;
Ø Records accounting transactions to book of accounts;
Ø Prepare General Information Sheet in accordance with the mandates of SEC;
Ø Create table of accounts and entry assignments to proper accounts;
Ø Prepare, check, and analyze all accounting records;
Ø Ensures accounting records are filed accordingly;
Ø Contribute to the team savings, process improvements or resolution of issues;
Ø Contribute to the team savings, process improvements or resolution of issues;
Ø Ensure compliance on the directions, set out by the Head of the team in order to achieve common goal;
Ø Recommend, establish procedures and institute controls to deter fraud, falsification, illegal or invalid claims that may result to erroneous or over payments;
Ø Other related task that may be delegated by the immediate superior from time to time.
II. Qualifications:
v Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent;
v At least two (2) years of working experience as an Accountant;
v CPA board passer;
v Knowledge of current accounting policies and procedures;
v Highly detailed oriented and organized in work;
v Knowledge in BIR remittances;
v Ability to act and operate independently with minimal supervision;
v Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet assigned deadlines;
v Eagerness to learn and willing to be trained;
v Positive attitude towards work;
v Exceptional attention to details and accuracy in figures;
v Ability to oversee, monitor and manage different accounting functions;
v Good communication skills (oral and written);
v Computer literate (knowledgeable with MS Office applications especially Excel, Google applications, Email management); Knowledge in using systems such as SAP, Oracle, Peachtree, Intuit, and other similar applications an advantage;
v Willing to work in Makati;
v full-time position available;
