WSP, a world leading management and consultancy firm, is seeking for Accountant to join their Finance team. The fast-paced firm is rapidly expanding, and this is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team of experts who will support your growth and development.
Main Activities and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
Support for the Australia region:
Preparation of monthly Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) journals and assistance with the annual FBT return, including quarterly review of travel data.
Review of contractor transactions on a quarterly basis to assist with payroll tax filing.
Review of annual intercompany transactions classification to assist with transfer pricing compliance.
Assistance with filing of monthly GST and PAYG.
Preparation of basic Joint Venture (JV) accounting, tax provisions and annual tax returns.
Financial analysis support as required.
Support for the Philippines region:
Preparation of relevant monthly schedules, reconciliations and analysis needed for the period close and reporting to head office.
Review of expenditures and ensure compliance with the Delegation of Authority.
Ensure compliance with PEZA reporting requirements.
Monitor and ensure timely submission of timesheets.
Others:
Other assignments as required from time to time.
Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelors' degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
At least two 2 years relevant experience
Knowledge in tax compliance
Experience in bookkeeping and financial analysis
Proficiency in Excel
Experience with IBM Planning Analytics would be an advantage
Good communication skills
