Position: Accountant
Department: Accounting Dept
Reports to: Managing Director
Direct Report: 1 Bookkeeper (Shenzhen)
Job Purpose:
The Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day Accounting operations which include managing and consolidating book of accounts in multiple sites or countries, ensuring local taxes are managed, migrating to a new accounting software and looking out for the company's financial position.
Job Requirements:
At least 3 years of work experience in general accounting, working at a senior level of an international, multi-site corporation with cross-border transactions
Experience of asset management: cash, equipment, accounts receivables, managing consolidated accounts, transfer pricing, managing tax laws and returns in multiple countries, setting up new accounts in new countries and corporate risk management
Must be fluent English. Knowledge of Mandarin, preferred.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Flexible, team-orientated, positive thinker solution-seeker and has organizational talent
Used to working to agreed deadlines
Sparring partner for Group MD and senior management
Ability and will to grow with the company
