Position Summary
Responsible for the efficient and effective provision of accounting services to assigned program/project of the Foundation
Duties and Responsibilities
Recording
Generate fund utilization schedule and recommend needed non-cash adjustments
Record and prepare summary of local counterpart of beneficiaries and other partners in the community
Monitoring and Reporting of Accounts
Perform day to day accounting transactions, financial statement preparation and financial data analysis
Monitor cash advances of employees and prepare schedule on a monthly basis
Ensure that all transactions are valid and within budget
Monitor and prepare monthly schedule of miscellaneous expense, repairs, maintenance and interest expenses
Prepare details of receivable accounts and make necessary adjustments
Prepare liquidation reports of funds received from various donors and ensure completeness of supporting documents
Monitor and prepare the schedule of accounts payable, make correction in entries as needed, and recommend release of payments
Monitor release and payment of company loans and prepare year-end reconciliation of accounts
Ensure accounts are fully reconciled and with proper documentation
Provide assistance in the preparation of annual/quarterly budget
Internal audit and control
Others
Serve as back-up resource in the absence of other team members
Performs other related functions as may be directed by the Immediate Superior
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Management, Financial Management and other related courses
Preferably a Certified Public Accountant
Minimum of one (1) year of working experience as an Accountant
Work experience in non-government organization is an advantage
