Job Title: Accountant
Reporting to: Management Team
Salary Level: Php20,000 Starting
Responsibilities:
·Basic bookkeeping entry for multiple company financial transactions
·Gather, classify, analyze, and assess the financial effect of source documents and information of different company transactions
Ensure timely submission and payment of government remittances and compliance to BIR Requirements
Ensure timely submission of financial statements and schedules monthly, quarterly and annually
Ensure Compliance to company policies and procedures, making recommendations and developing procedures when necessary
Liaise with external auditors for audit compliance work quarterly and annually
Post day-to-day transactions from source documents and information to accounting systems.
Reconcile all accounts to ensure high accuracy
Assist senior consultants in preparing Excel templates, schedules and reports
Generate periodic financial reports from the accounting system.
Assist in annual forecasting and budget process
Assist other department in providing accounts data for reporting purposes
Monitors company funds conscientiously at all times
AR and AP Responsibilities
Other tasks required by the Management
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, or a CPA, or an equivalent accounting professional certification
At least 2 years of work experience in a similar capacity, working in the retail or distribution industry is an advantage
Working knowledge in statutory benefits and BIR Regulations is an advantage
Well versed in accounting and finance principles and procedures
Self-starter, hands-on and independent with positive work and can-do-attitude
Excellent communication skills and fluent in business English
Accurate, precise and attentive to details while understanding the bigger picture
Well organized with time-management skills and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
NetSuite CRM knowledge is a big advantage
Well versed with Excel and MS office application
Willing to work in Sun Valley, Paranaque
Preferably can start immediately
