GrowFactor is a unique, award-winning, Chartered Accounting firm in the UK who are looking for a qualified CPA Accountant to work remotely, providing accounting services to it's clients.
The firm has based it's offshore team in the Philippines for the last 5 years and are looking to expand the team. Now offering you the opportunity to work from home or a remote office under direct supervision of the UK team. Save time by not having to commute to a city office.
As an Accountant, you will be CPA qualified and have experience of working in accounting for an overseas employer. You must have energy and passion to help further your knowledge and help business owners in the UK and will be communicating directly with UK clients.
Preparation and submission of statutory accounts, tax returns, bookkeeping reviews and management accounts whilst also helping the UK team to map out business strategies and undertake financial planning and providing tax advice to clients.
You will be part of a team undertaking compliance work, reviewing and checking but you will be responsible for a small portfolio of clients and also reviewing work of the bookkeeping team and keeping them accountable to pre-agreed metrics.
Time allocation: 75% compliance preparation and client communication, 25% internal planning and business development
As an Accountant you will have excellent attention to detail and be willing to learn new skills quickly and be ready to collaborate on all tasks.
You are not working alone either, you will get all the training required and will be supported by the current Philippines team as well as the senior UK team .
Key activities:
CPA license is a must - *** Please indicate this in your cover letter/resume.***
UK accounting is preferred, but not required
Experienced in end-to-end accounting and/or bookkeeping
Good English communication skills (verbal and written)
Must be able/willing to communicate with clients via email or call
Knowledgeable with the use of MS office programs
QB, Xero, Receipt Bank is a plus, but not required
Must be amenable working to UK hours
Role budget: Php 51,000 basic pay per month

Qualifications:
- Fully qualified - CPA
- Ideally, 3 years experience in general or tax accounting
