Job description
With the growth of our Manila branch, we are looking for a highly organized Accountant with expertise in financial reporting, tax and compliance to manage the day-to-day operational finance functions and compliance of our Manila branch.
This role will report to the Group Senior Financial Accountant based in Brisbane
Responsibilities:
Preparation of various Monthly, Quarterly and Annual tax returns for the Manila branch for lodgment with the BIR
Assist with processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions in the Australian entity and other ad-hoc duties as required including assisting with the user acceptance testing of our new finance system
Managing the compliance obligations of the branch and maintaining the compliance calendar
Entering Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable invoices
Balance sheet reconciliations
Preparing the financial statements of the Manila branch
Assist in preparing the financial statements of the Group
Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) of new finance system
Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely accounting of transactions and appropriate reporting/classification of financial information
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree holder
Must be a CPA
At least 5 years of overall working experience in Finance and Accounting, general ledger, accounts reconciliation, balance sheet analysis, trial balance analysis
Must have strong and advanced skills in the following:
Accounts Payable processing
Accounts Receivables Ledger Maintenance
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Tax Compliance
Financial Reporting/ Preparation of Financial Statements
