We are seeking an experienced Accountant to operate in a work-from-home arrangement. The role provides significant opportunities for growth and advancement with one of our clients based in the USA. The Accountant will be an integral member of the team within a growing, industry-leading company.

Job Description
Prepare and review daily accounting activities
Support month end close at the corporate level
Ad hoc support creating excel spreadsheets and creating accounting files
Assist with monthly reconciliations and close process
Populate spreadsheets with various data
Assist in the audit process
Qualifications
Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Excellent report writing, communication and IT skills
Strong written and oral communicational skills
Critical thinker with a high proficiency in math
Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills
Ability to work comfortably under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines
Capability to function in a team environment, as well as independently
Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and Accounting software packages, with ability to manage large amounts of data and use complex formulas
Prior experience working with US-based companies or clients is a plus
