Fantastic opportunity for a VAT Accountant to join a leading Multinational in Westport. This opportunity will offer the successful candidate a very attractive salary and opportunity to work with one of the worlds largest Healthcare companies.
You New Role:
You will join the VAT team and your key role is ensuring VAT compliance is complete. You will have responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of all VAT related returns & dealing with queries from tax authorities on a regular basis as well as representing VAT audits. You will provide VAT advice to the business and work with other departments on VAT issues that arise to provide solutions in line with fiscal compliance. You will also be responsible for the preparation, filing, payment & review of VAT related returns for a number of entities across EAM. Finally, you will liaise with the Global services VAT team & ensures correct mapping of VAT codes & correct coding of all postings from SAP. You will also be involved in several other VAT related duties.
Ideal Candidate:
You are ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified. You have two plus years' experience. Working knowledge of European VAT requirements. Experience in the preparation and submissions of European VAT returns, Intrastat and VIES returns. Ideally
