Job Description
Our client is seeking a High Intermediate Accountant to join their Tax ans Business Services team. You will be responsible for:
Independently processing tax returns and financial statements through Handiledger and Handitax.
Servicing a client base of SME clients across a diverse range of industries.
Complex tax calculations including Div7a, FBT, CGT and payroll tax.
Full client contact with your portfolio including inquiries.
You will be encouraged to participate in advisory work and tax planning
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Accounting or related field/CPA qualifications is highly regarded.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Accounts role in public practice accounting.
Qualifications in information/records management (desirable) and/or experienced in document control.
Demonstrated ability to work with and at management level.
Proven experience in customer focused business support.
Ability to manage and take accountability for Business tasks and deadlines to ensure team performance.
Professionalism and aptitude required to work effectively to achieve team objectives.
Flexibility & Analytical/Problem solving skills to cope within a 'live" environment.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong project administration and reporting skills.
Excellent verbal and written English skills.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Professional more importantly Excel.
Skills and Experience in electronic (e.g. Handisoft, BGL360, Hownow, Bluebeam, Xero, Jobpac, MYOB, Preceda, Workday, HRIS etc.)
Ability to understand and comply with relevant Human Resources, Commercial, Finance, Legal and Quality and procedures.
