Our Regional Finance Team is seeking a highly motivated Accountant, SSC Delivery (APAC) to scale and champion our month-end closing process within APAC and based in Philippines.
Responsibilities:
Support in month-end closing activities for specific financial processes and take responsibility for systems reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Standardize the accounting processes and enhance the overall reporting efficiency.
Develop a strong understanding of finance processes including but not limited to month end closing. Proactively involved in process improvement.
To be involved in implementation of any system improvement projects.
Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure daily finance operations running efficiently.
Work with the controlling team to support the year-end audit and liaise with external advisors when necessary.
Ensure compliance to group accounting policies, audit, tax and other statutory requirements.
Manage various financial topics and provide ad-hoc support to the finance team.
Requirements:
Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in finance/accounting preferably from audit firm/inhouse role.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field.
Practical knowledge of IFRS, ACCA/CPA/ACA qualifications are preferred.
Highly proficient in advanced Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, vLookups etc.) & SAP system.
Proficient in business English
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical abilities.
Background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup/technology environments is a plus.
Ability to work well under pressure, detail-oriented and employs a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Positive working attitude, demonstrate good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
