The Accounting Specialist supports the day-to-day business in the Accounting Department.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reconcile accounts, resolving discrepancies and collaborating across various Finance and non-Finance functions effectively
Analyze and post journals, produce data analysis and reports and assist with variance analysis
Review month-end close reports and call out problems you detect
Assemble the annual audit information for external auditors
As a key player in the accounting process, recommend how to improve efficiency using automation
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
2 years experience with QuickBooks Accounting software either Online or Desktop
Certified Account (CPA) is preferred but not required
Adept knowledge in Microsoft Excel
2 to 3 years of accounting experience
Good communication skill in English
Amenable to work onsite
