About This Role
PartnerHero is looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated Staff Accountant to join our growing hub in Manila. In this role, you will support our accounting team by performing the following tasks.
Manage day to day data-entry of transactional accounting
Manage Accounts Payable including entering bills and reviewing aging AP
Manage Accounts Receivable including partnering with leadership for invoicing and answering Partner questions
Support the payroll process
Develop or improve processes to support employee benefits and compensation tracking
Perform weekly passive Bank and CC reconciliations
Perform weekly cash forecast modeling
Perform month-end closing process including accrual basis revenue recognition, employee benefits reconciliation, and intercompany due from/due to accounts reconciliation
Support preparation for monthly financial statements including P&L, BS, and CF
What You Bring to the Table
Excellent (near-native) English (spoken and/or written)
1-3 years of Accounting experience or Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience with accounting systems preferred (Quickbooks, Excel, other systems a plus)
Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS a plus
Active pursuit of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
Deadline Management
Desire to continue to grow through continuing training
